"Helping you look after your body"
I trained initially as a Learning Disabilities Nurse, graduating from Birmingham City University. I was introduced to the benefits of massage therapy during my nursing practice. My skills and knowledge have deepened in recent years through my work within the area of Paediatric Physiotherapy.
My massage therapy practice has been informed by an extensive range of fully certified professional training courses undertaken over some years and it is fully focussed on bodywork used as a positive healthcare mechanism.
The therapies I offer include Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Warm Bamboo, Hot Stone, Swedish Massage, Pregnancy massage and Indian Head massage.
The benefits this will offer to you are as follows:-
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Relaxed mind and body.
• Pain relief
• Peace of mind and quiet
• Dedicated quality time
• Feeling of well-being
• Enhanced healing and recovery from strains or injury.
• Ease muscle and joint pain, and discomfort.
My intuitive touch and therapeutic bodywork is designed and customised to meet your own individual needs and is delivered in a tranquil, warm, nurturing and restorative environment.
"I am passionate about what I do. My aim is to help you look
after your body and to make you feel healthier, restored and
re-balanced in body, mind and spirit."
On your first visit, a full confidential consultation will take place with me. (All therapists should adhere to the principles of the

Thanks Debbie for the best and most professional massage I've ever had. I've had many massages in the US and UK in my time and yours was blissful. I loved the time you took to make sure it was a relaxing experience. I felt like I floated out of there. Thank you so much. I'll be back for sure!
I have received different types of massages from Debbie Smith, Swedish, Hot Stones and Indian Head. I have found not only the treatments have been excellent but Debbie very quickly identifies problems and treats them effectively. She also gives a very professional but friendly and relaxing service in a lovely room. Very much recommend her but leave enough room for me! Lorraine Redditch

What is Myofascia?
The term Myofascia is derived from the Greek word ‘myo’, meaning ‘muscle”; and ‘fascia’ meaning band.
Fascia is a very densely woven covering that connects every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein as well as all of our internal organs including the heart, lungs, brain and spinal cord.
The most interesting aspect of the fascial system is that it is, in fact, one structure that exists from head to foot without interruption. It has the appearance of a spiders web.
What is sports massage?
The purpose of sports massage is to alleviate stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissue during physical activity, where minor injuries and lesions occur due to overextension and/or overuse. A constant build up of tension in the muscles from regular activities may lead to stresses on joints, ligaments, tendons, as well as the muscles themselves.
